Hazestar was yelling before she touched ground. "Worthystar! WORTHYSTAR!" She didn't care if she was interrupting anything. She din't care if she awoke anyone. She wanted revenge and she wanted it as soon as possible.

"What is all this racks about!" yowled a fimilor voice. Worthystar slipped into the clearing from her den, then when she saw the anger in Hazestar's eyes she stopped. "It happened didn't it"

"Happened?" she hissed. "This isn't a simple case of a missing cat. One of my apprentices has been murdered!" Her voice grew into an anguished howl. "Torn to shreds! The rest have been injured!"
She closed her eyes, and when they opened they smouldered furiously. "It was Hawk. Their feathers...they were all over her body. We have to do something. Soon. Now! Before it happens again." Hazestar's voice dropped to a whisper. "She was just a kitten."

Worthystar stared, "Oh my..." she sat down to think then turned to her clan. "Hawk you say..." then she whispered to her self, "Dead, shreaded, kit....." she shook her head. "We should join." she looked up at Hazestar.

Hazestar nodded stiffly. "If they've attacked now...how long will it be before they attack again? But if we band together, we might just be able to stop them."
It was then that Sable walked in on the conversation. "Who's stopping who?" he asked mildly.

Sable looked startled. "They've been what?"
Impatiently, Hazestar wheeled on him. "Attacking. They've been attacking cats. My cats."
"Oh." Sable sat down, shaking his head sadly. "Well, I am a Medicine Cat, if you need any help..."
"She's dead already," the cream-furred cat said shortly. "What we need is allies."
Sable looked to Worthystar. "And I take it we're helping?"
